FOLA – what a feeling (EP)
FOLA’s latest project, What a Feeling, arrives as a bold step forward in the artist’s evolving sound, blending raw emotion with infectious energy across six tracks. The album marks a 2024 release, offering a mix of introspective moments and high-octane anthems that showcase FOLA’s knack for storytelling through music. From the opening bars, the project immediately draws listeners in with its dynamic range, balancing vulnerability with confidence.
The tracklist begins with “Who Does That?” featuring Bella Shmurda, a track that sets the tone with its playful yet self-assured vibe. Meanwhile, the remix of “Alone” with Bnxn adds a fresh twist to a song that already resonates with its melancholic yet uplifting energy. Each production feels carefully crafted, with FOLA’s signature voice taking center stage while the featured artists bring their own distinct flavors to the mix.
Standout moments include “Tonight,” a track that pulses with rhythmic drive, and “Mandela (Effect)” featuring Magixx, where the collaboration weaves together melodic depth and rhythmic precision. The album wraps up with “Bye Bye” and a reimagined version of “Alone” featuring BhadBoi OML, both offering contrasting yet equally compelling closures. What a Feeling isn’t just a collection of songs—it’s a snapshot of FOLA’s artistic growth, where every track feels intentional and immersive.
With a sound that’s both personal and universally relatable, What a Feeling solidifies FOLA’s place in the current musical landscape. Whether you’re drawn to the introspective lyrics or the infectious grooves, this album delivers a listening experience that’s as engaging as it is memorable.
