Charlie Puth – CHARLIE (Album)
Charlie Puth’s new album, titled simply CHARLIE, arrives in 2022 as a bold, self-reflective journey through humor, heartache, and introspection. The project marks a fresh creative chapter for the multi-platinum artist, blending signature wit with raw emotional depth across its twelve tracks. From playful anthems to introspective ballads, CHARLIE explores the duality of Puth’s personality—whether cracking jokes or confronting vulnerability.
The album kicks off with tracks like "That’s Hilarious" and "Charlie Be Quiet!" where Puth’s signature comedic charm takes center stage. These early cuts set a lighthearted tone, but the mood shifts dramatically with deeper cuts like "There’s A First Time For Everything" and "Smells Like Me." Each song peels back layers of his artistic identity, revealing a side that’s as introspective as it is entertaining.
A standout moment comes with "Left and Right," a collaborative effort featuring Jung Kook of BTS. The track bridges Puth’s signature pop sensibilities with a global pop sensation, offering a fresh dynamic to the album’s sound. Elsewhere, "Tears On My Piano" and "Marks On My Neck" deliver hauntingly personal moments, showcasing Puth’s ability to craft emotionally resonant lyrics.
CHARLIE isn’t just a collection of songs—it’s a full-spectrum portrait of an artist navigating life’s contradictions. Whether laughing at his own antics or confronting heartbreak, Puth’s new work proves he remains as versatile as ever. Fans can expect a mix of wit, warmth, and genuine emotion across every track.
