Chase – Generic Everything (Album)
Chase’s latest project, Generic Everything, arrives as a bold expansion of his sound, blending raw energy with standout collaborations that push boundaries. Scheduled for release in 2026, this 10-track album showcases Chase’s signature intensity, each track featuring a mix of UK rap’s most dynamic voices. From the opening bars, the chemistry between Chase and Status is undeniable, setting the stage for a collection that balances grit and innovation.
The album kicks off with “Disgruntled,” a track that immediately grabs attention with its sharp lyrics and layered production. Chase’s flow is matched by J Hus and IRAH, adding depth and versatility to the sound. Meanwhile, “Tension” and “Carnage” further cement the album’s aggressive tone, with Saam Sultan and Little Simz lending their signature styles to create a dynamic interplay. “Essa Ta Quente,” produced by Skrillex, introduces a high-energy twist, proving Chase’s ability to adapt to different vibes while keeping the momentum strong.
Collaborations with Blanco and Finesse Kid on “Juggin” bring a streetwise edge, while “Levels” and “Influence” showcase Chase’s knack for seamless transitions. D Double E and Ledbyher contribute fresh perspectives, ensuring each track feels distinct yet cohesive. Debbie’s presence on “Gone Too Far” adds a reflective contrast, balancing the album’s intensity with moments of introspection.
Closing with “Timber” and “Shutdown,” Chase and his collaborators deliver a powerful finale. Giggs and Col3trane’s contributions on the latter track add a polished yet edgy finish, rounding out an album that’s as much about collaboration as it is about individual brilliance. Generic Everything is a must-listen for fans of modern rap, offering a mix of raw talent and collaborative magic.
