Drake – First Person Shooter ft. J. Cole
Drake’s "First Person Shooter" from the For All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition delivers a hard-hitting anthem that blends gritty production with sharp lyricism. The track, featuring J. Cole, sits at number six on the album and showcases a dynamic collaboration between two of hip-hop’s most influential voices. Behind the scenes, the track’s raw energy comes from a stellar production team, including Vinylz, Boi-1da, OZ, Tay Keith, Coleman, and FNZ, who craft a sound that’s both aggressive and layered with depth.
At its core, "First Person Shooter" captures a moment of intensity, where Drake’s flow and Cole’s presence create a powerful dynamic. The genre-blending production—spanning trap beats and punchy synths—makes the track feel both immediate and cinematic. The chemistry between the two artists shines through, turning what could be a straightforward collab into something more—a high-stakes moment in hip-hop storytelling.
Released in 2023, the Scary Hours Edition of For All The Dogs brought fans a darker, more aggressive take on the original album, and "First Person Shooter" is a standout example of that shift. The track’s relentless energy and polished execution make it a must-listen for fans of Drake’s latest work and Cole’s signature introspection.
