Future – 7 Am Freestyle ft. Juice WRLD
"7 Am Freestyle" is a standout track from the collaborative album Future & Juice WRLD Present… WRLD ON DRUGS, a project that marked a powerful union between two of hip-hop’s most influential voices. Released in 2018, this track features Future alongside the late Juice WRLD, delivering a raw and introspective freestyle that captures the raw emotion of their partnership. Produced by Wheezy, the track blends Future’s signature melodic flow with Juice WRLD’s haunting, introspective lyricism, creating a moment of unfiltered vulnerability on the album.
The song’s title itself hints at its late-night origins, evoking a sense of solitude and reflection as the duo exchanges verses under the quiet glow of 7 AM. Future’s smooth, almost conversational delivery contrasts with Juice WRLD’s more urgent, confessional style, making their chemistry on this track feel both organic and electric. While the album as a whole explores themes of struggle and resilience, "7 Am Freestyle" stands out for its stripped-down authenticity, offering a glimpse into the creative process behind their collaboration.
As part of WRLD ON DRUGS, the track serves as a testament to the chemistry between Future and Juice WRLD, solidifying their place in hip-hop history. Though it may not have reached the same mainstream spotlight as some of their other work, its raw energy and emotional depth make it a fan-favorite cut from the project. For listeners drawn to the intersection of melancholy and introspection, this freestyle remains a compelling listen.
